Financial Information
Tuition and fees are assessed for each student. The tuition is determined on a sliding scale based on the number of students enrolled from a family. All charges are based on the annual school budget and thus subject to yearly change. A non-refundable deposit for the school year starting in September is required by the first week in April of the prior school year.
Fees are paid on a by student basis and due at the same time as the Family Deposit. The monies cover initial supplies, computer and science labs, field trips and art supplies.
Several options for tuition payment are available:
- Plan A: Tuition paid in full by August 10th
- Plan B: Bi-annual tuition payments; first half paid by August 10th, second half paid by January 10th
- Plan C: Quarterly tuition payments: August 10th, October 10th, January 10th, and March 10th
- Plan D: Eight Payments due on the 10th of each month, August through March.
Smart Tuition, an outside agent who collects monies on behalf of the school, manages tuition accounts. Family accounts are available for viewing over the Internet on a 24/7 basis. Also, payments may be automatically deducted from your account should you so choose that option. Credit card payments are also accepted. A family responsible fee is imposed on the transaction. This Smart Tuition set-up is very convenient and works well for all, families and school alike.
As a footnote, Pre-K4 tuition accounts are managed within the school itself and do not flow through Smart Tuition. Checks are made payable to St. Joseph School and are sent directly to the school office. Family Deposits and Fees are collected according to the same due date schedule above. However only annual, semi-annual and quarterly tuition payment plans are offered for our Pre-K4 program.
